Netflix’s Zombieverse: Reality Stars Unite to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse
Is it real, is it fake? We take a look at this unconvential zombie reality game show.

Zombieverse, a new Korean reality TV series released by Netflix on August 8, follows a group of people trying to survive a fictional zombie outbreak in Seoul.
The genre can best be described as Korean "real-variety", combining elements of reality, fiction, and competition shows. Nothing is real, but the at the same time the action is not scripted and the contestants/actors are not aware of what will happen next.
It's an unusual proposition, but as a concept we find it quite interesting and very watchable. Here's the trailer:
Basically, ten contestants must team up to find ways to survive the zombie apocalypse. Their main goal is to reach a rescue ship on Wolmi Island, which is 35 kilometers away from Seoul. If they get bitten, they become zombies and exit the game.
The show features a diverse and relatable cast (to those familiar with Korean celebrities) and some incredible stunt performances.
Reviews have been mixed, but personally we found it great. At the very least it is very, very unique, so check it out.
