The Sandman S2: New Faces, Old Trouble, and More Endless Family Drama
The dream is far from over. The second season of The Sandman has arrived - and things are getting stranger, deeper, and a lot more personal for our favourite gloomy immortal.

Season 2 of The Sandman is finally here, with Volume 1 dropping on July 3 and the second half coming July 24. The story picks up with Dream (Tom Sturridge) still dealing with the fallout of last season, but this time the stakes are bigger. The Endless family is growing, the world is shifting, and yes - Dream is still very serious about everything.
If you liked Season 1, Season 2 goes deeper. The world feels bigger, the stories hit harder, and the visuals are still some of the best on Netflix. It’s not a fast-paced show - and it doesn’t try to be. But if you’re in the mood for thoughtful fantasy with a strong cast and plenty of strange moments, The Sandman is still one of Netflix’s most unique series.
In Season 2, Tom Sturridge is still whispering his way through the role of Dream, but this time there’s a new weight to his performance. The season draws directly from the fan-favourite arcs Season of Mists and Brief Lives, which means we’re no longer stuck cleaning up after Season 1’s loose ends. Instead, Morpheus is forced to reckon with gods, old family wounds, and some very petty cosmic drama. Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?
